Little May

I did some tablet practice yesterday and today and decided to draw little May (as a little girl, that is). Awwww, isn't she the most adorable toon girl ever? (Ag: of course she is, there can't be any question or doubt about that! )

I'm not sure if my drawing skills improved, I still see a lot of mistakes (gee my hand drawing skills are awful ) and the original sketch was kind of rushed and did not look too good, still required a lot of vector correction, but I did come up with a much faster, easier, and better technique for coloring and shading - now I only use one layer for flat colors plus one layer for shading, plus the usual two (constant/variable width) vector lineart layers and the BG layer. So, all in all, five layers versus 20+ I used to do, and the shading is kinda easier to work with using my current method - thanks goes to Cookie for demonstrating a similar technique on LiveStream.

P.S. Don't worry, I didn't forget about the portraits... I just need some time to practice certain things I need... Once I finish DTLAL I'll do portraits + drawings for a while before starting the third fanfic, promise.
